Snow of a century

Winters in the Swiss canton of Valais are a truly magical gift. To raise awareness for this attraction, we turned winter into an actual gift. By drilling deep into the Rhone Glacier of Valais, we were able to recover snow from the birth years of the oldest citizens of the canton. We designed a personalized glass jar for each snow probe and surprised them with the very first winter of their lives.
